Dr. Kaylene Carr grew up in the San Diego area and has spent time living in the Estados Unidos Mexicanos and the Republic of the Philippines. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Secondary Social Science from Pacific Christian College. After she graduated, she spent four years teaching in the Republic of the Philippines. While in the Philippines, she studied International Development and went on to complete a Master’s of Science in Management from Hope International University. While living in the Philippines, Dr. Carr picked up the Korean sport of Taekwondo. She spent many years training and competing in Taekwondo tournaments at the state, national and international levels. Dr. Carr completed her pre-medicine courses at California State University, Fullerton. She studied Medicine at Albany Medical College in New York and completed her residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Loma Linda University Medical Center. After residency, Dr. Carr worked in Riverside California for 4 and a half years before joining Inland Empire Women’s Center. Her focus is comprehensive obstetrical care and minimally invasive gynecology surgery. Dr. Carr can boast that she was the first doctor in Riverside County to do a total laparoscopic hysterectomy with 3 mm ports! In addition to being certified to perform surgical procedures using the Da Vince Robot, she is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is proficient in English and Spanish. Dr. Carr lives with her husband and children in the Inland Empire. She enjoys spending time with family, gardening, traveling and working.
